Mission & Vision Statement

The Mission of Cowan Elementary School is to create lifelong scholars and leaders, who will successfully meet the challenges, and are socially and emotionally prepared for the multi-cultural, technologically oriented, 21st century. As leaders in the classroom and workplace, the best opportunity in our generation is to put American students on a path to personal and professional success.

 

As a staff we focus on developing the critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills students will need to be successful. With students, parents, and teachers all on the same page and working together toward shared goals, we can ensure that students make progress each year and graduate school prepared to succeed in college, career, and life. We are committed to meeting the great variety of abilities, needs, learning rates, and achievement levels of students in a safe and supportive classroom. We know that teamwork and collaboration between educators, parents, and students are essential to maximize student success.
