At Cowan Avenue Elementary School, our mission is to inspire lifelong learning and develop confident, compassionate leaders. We nurture the academic, social, and emotional growth of every student while preparing them to thrive in a diverse, innovative, and interconnected world.
Vision
As a staff we focus on developing the critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills students will need to be successful. With students, parents, and teachers all on the same page and working together toward shared goals, we can ensure that students make progress each year and graduate school prepared to succeed in college, career, and life. We are committed to meeting the great variety of abilities, needs, learning rates, and achievement levels of students in a safe and supportive classroom. We know that teamwork and collaboration between educators, parents, and students are essential to maximize student success.
