In partnership with Loyola Marymount University's Family of Schools, Cowan Avenue Elementary students have had the benefit of fine arts instruction under Ms. Nickie Burrell. As an independent arts education teacher, Ms. Burrell has worked with Cowan students for the last 5 years, developing their understanding for various mediums and helping students to build their artistic skills.
