STEP Team
Each year, Cowan Avenue Elementary's 6th graders participate in the tradition of STEP Team dance. Under the direction of Community Member and former Cowan parent, Ms. Gaila Williams, Cowan 6th grade students develop self-confidence, self-discipline, and gain a greater appreciation for the history and artistry involved in this form of dance.
